Using Interpretability to Identify a Novel Class of Alzheimer's Biomarkers

We trained our epigenetics foundation model Pleiades to detect Alzheimer's from blood samples. Using interpretability methods, we identified DNA fragment length patterns as a novel class of biomarkers that generalize better than previously reported predictors.
